SCRP Computer Cluster

SCRP is a high-performance computing cluster managed by the Department of Economics of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, designed to serve both research and teaching roles. In addition to supporting general compute, it also provides access to locally-hosted generative AI models through the SCRP-Chat service.

  We are excited to announce Day-1 availability of Open AI’s first open model, GPT-OSS-120B, as well as a new vision model, Qwen-2.5-VL. You can try these models out by logging onto SCRP-Chat.

• 2025-06-26 6:50pm

  Due to the ongoing renovation work in the Department of Economics, power to the cluster will be cut from July 8 to July 12. To minimize the impact, we will carry out our biannual maintenance during that period of time.
