SCRP Computer Cluster

SCRP is a high-performance computing cluster managed by the Department of Economics of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, designed to serve both research and teaching roles. In addition to supporting general compute, it also provides access to locally-hosted generative AI models through the SCRP-Chat service.

  We are excited to announce that image generation on SCRP-Chat is now powered by Qwen-Image, along with a new, in-house-developed image editor powered by Qwen-Image-Edit. With this update, SCRP-Chat is now offering all users frontier-level image generation capabilities.

• 2025-08-07 6:50pm

  We are excited to announce Day-1 availability of Open AI’s first open model, GPT-OSS-120B, as well as a new vision model, Qwen-2.5-VL. You can try these models out by logging onto SCRP-Chat.
